Tye advises mortgage lenders on regulatory compliance issues relating to real property law. With a background in mortgage foreclosures and other post-closing issues, he has substantial experience protecting lenders’ interests in collateral.
Before joining Polunsky Beitel Green, Tye litigated Texas home equity foreclosures at a boutique law firm. Previously, he served within the Small Business Administration and assisted victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Tye received his law degree from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law, where he was a member of the Real Estate Law Association. Through the school’s Corporate Counsel Program, he completed an internship with G6 Hospitality, LLC, the owner and franchisor of more than 1,400 Motel 6 and Studio 6 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
