HOUSTON – October 29, 2025 – Polunsky Beitel Green LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew Duane has been elected a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
One of the most prestigious honors that can be bestowed upon a member of the State Bar of Texas, election to the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation is by invitation only and limited to one-third of one percent of Texas attorneys each year. Fellows are selected based on their outstanding professional achievements and a demonstrated commitment to improving the state’s justice system. Duane joins PBG partner Jay Beitel, who was previously elected as a Bar Foundation Fellow.
“The Texas Bar Foundation has a long history of working to improve our state’s justice system, and given its mission, I can think of no better addition to its proud fellowship than Andy Duane,” said Allan Polunsky, managing partner and founder of Polunsky Beitel Green. “Andy’s election is a well-deserved recognition of his professional excellence, integrity, and service to the legal and mortgage banking communities. We are proud to see him join such a distinguished group of attorneys.”
The Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably funded bar foundation in the country and has distributed more than $29 million to programs that promote justice, provide legal services to those in need, and educate Texans about the law.
At Polunsky Beitel Green, Duane represents clients in all facets of residential mortgage lending, including regulatory compliance, consumer financial laws, and real property law. Before joining the firm, he worked in the mortgage industry, gaining firsthand experience in the operational and client service aspects of residential lending.
In addition to his work at Polunsky Beitel Green, Duane serves on the Board of Directors for the Houston Mortgage Bankers Association and is Co-Chair of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association’s Young Mortgage Bankers Committee. He earned his J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law and B.A. from Oklahoma State University, where he earned a prestigious U.S. congressional fellowship to work in Germany as a citizen diplomat.
